Welcome / What we believe
Joh 17:21-23; Heb 1; 1 Joh 5:7-8We believe that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are one. Together they are God.
Joh 17:3, 26We believe that knowing God the Father is the main goal in life and that Jesus has reopened the way to the Father, allowing us to near God the Father without fear or condemnation, and that we may come to Him as a full child of Him.
1 Thes 5:9-10; Ephe 1:4, 5; Gen 1:26; Col 1; 2:2-3; Rom 3:4, 10-20; 5:12-21; 8:20; Gal 6:8; Gen 3; Joh 3:18,19We believe that it was always God's desire to have an intimate relationship with man. We as human beings, male and female, created in his image, were created to have a relationship with our Father and to rule over the earth. Because man sinned against God, we lost this position and Satan and his demons gained access to God's creation. Creation now experiences the consequences and effects of sin and is subject to the death and destruction. People are born in sin, are under the condemnation of God and are trapped in darkness
Joh 1:1-18; 3:17; 6:35; 10:10,18; 12:47-50; 14:18; 17:5; 20; Luk 1:26-38; Math 1:18-25; Gal 4:4-7; 1 Cor 15:12-23; Act 1; Rev 21:2; 2 Cor 11:2We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who layed down His divinity and became human to restore the relationship with the Father. We believe that Jesus came to give us life, abundant life. We believe he was born of a virgin, that He lived a sinless life, healed the sick, freeing people from demonic bondage and dead. We believe that He was an innocent man who was nailed to a cross. We believe that He died and rose again after three days, He has revealed Himself to the disciples and ascended to heaven where He prepares a place for us. We believe that He will return to us, believers, to take us with Him as His bride.
2 Cor 1:9-10; 3:6; 5:17-21; Gal 1:35; 2:15-21; 3:13; Rom 3:25,26; 5; 8:1; 1 Petr 3:3,4; Hebr 13:20; 2 Tim 1:7,9,10; 2:1; 1 Cor 15:10; Jude 24; Titus 2:14; Col 1:22; 2:12-15; Isa 53; Joh 1:29; 5:39,40We believe that an exchange took place on the cross of Calvary. Jesus gave his perfect life without sin and sickness to us in exchange for our sinful mortal nature. We believe that Jesus exclaimed: "It is finished" and no further sacrifice is needed. Jesus' sacrifice is sufficient to deliver us from sin and not only that, but also the consequences of sin. In Jesus we are forgiven from all our sins and shortcomings and we can be cured from all diseases. Jesus was punished so that we might not be condemned, but are set free. Jesus was beaten so that we can receive healing, Jesus was abandoned so that we may never be alone again. Jesus became a curse, so that we are liberated from every curse.
1 Joh 5:4,5; Eph 3:16-19, 1 Cor 15:57; Rom 8:37We believe that we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ who loved us. Jesus fought and conquered and he let us share in the victory and his legacy.
Joh 1:12; 3:18,36; 5:24; 6:29,40,47; 20:31; 1 Joh 4:15; 5:1,13; Act 4:12; 13:39; 15:9-11; 16:13; Rom 1:16-17; 3:22; 5:1,8; 9:6; 10:9-11; Col 1:22-23; Phil 3:9; 1 Cor 1:30; 6:11; 15:57; 2 Cor 4:7; Hebr 7-10We believe that we share in Jesus' divine nature only by believing in His name, Lord. We believe that we all can be made righteous through Jesus and not by following laws or regulations. We believe that Jesus' blood has cleansed us from all unrighteousness and that we are under the blood of Jesus and may stand pure before God.
Rom 6:1-14; Col 2:12-15, 3:1-5; 1 Tim 1:8-10; 1 Petr 3:21We believe that we are dead to sin and alive to God and the law. We believe in water baptism as an outward profession of our faith that we no longer want to live for ourselves, but to live for God. We believe that in baptism we buried our old nature to stand in a new eternal life.
Ex 12; Act 2:42, Mark 14:22-25; Luk 22:14-20; Joh 7:35,40,47-59; 1 Cor 11:17-34We believe that Jesus instituted the Lord’s supper so we will remember Him and will be reminded of the fact that He is the Living Bread, and that without Him we can not live and that His blood has cleansed us completely. Lord’s supper is an invitation to all believers to have a meal with God and eat from his table and to receive God's blessing for us; his cleansing, his acceptance, his healing, his care, its provision and its vicinity.
1 Sam 10: 6-13; Act 2:1-13,32,33; Act 8:15-18; 10:45; 1 Cor 3:16; Col 1:8; 1 Joh 2:27; Joh 3:21We believe that the Holy Spirit was poured out in power at Pentecost on the church, so that the believers were baptized into the body of Christ and received spiritual gifts. We believe that the work of the Holy Spirit is sometimes associated with external manifestations that are visible to other people. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person and that our body is the temple, where the Spirit as the permanent indwelling presence of God, dwells in order to equip us for spiritual worship, personal sanctification and the building of the church.
Act 1:8; Luk 4:1,14-21; Mark 13:11; 1 Cor 2:10-12; Gal 5:16-25; Rom 2:29; 5:5; 8:4-10; 15:16, Joh 6:38; 14:16, Act 2:38; Jak 5: 13-15; 1 Tim 4:14We believe that without the Holy Spirit we can do nothing. We believe in the fulfillment and empowering by the Holy Spirit, often a conscious experience, the work of God can do, even as Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit before he began his work. We believe that the Holy Spirit lives in everyone who believes and that he is a permanent Helper, Teacher and Guide.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in practicing all biblical gifts of the Holy Spirit. We believe in the power of laying hands on people for the receiving of the power of the Holy Spirit, healing and for recognition and endorsement of those whom God has appointed to lead and serve the church. We believe in speaking in tongues as a powerful weapon in prayer and to build our personal spiritual life.
Rom 8:14-17; Gal 4:5-7; 1 Joh 3:1-3; Eph 1:17-20; 4:10We believe in the spirit of sonship. We believe that the Holy Spirit testifies to us that we are beloved children of God and we can call God Abba, Daddy. As the Father confirmed Jesus, after His baptism, as his beloved son in whom he delights, so he affirms us. Our true identity is in God. Through Jesus Christ we can live again as sons of God. We believe that in this position, we are able to exert influence on the world again, and reflect God's love to our environment.
Gal 5:16-25; Rom 7:4-6; Col 1:8-11; Phil 1:9,10; 2:13; 4:15; Titus 2:14We believe that when we live as sons of God, the fruit of the Spirit in our lives will become increasingly visible. The fruit of the Spirit is not a condition for preservation, but a result of our salvation. It is the work of God and not of our performance.
Eph 6:17; Rom 15:4; 2 Tim 3:16We believe in the Bible as the Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit.. We also believe that the Bible in the original manuscripts is without error. The 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are our highest and absolute truth, the only infallible authority for faith and practice.
Eph 1:9,10,22; 4:15; Rom 12:5; 14; 1 Cor 12:12,13,27-31; Col 1:18We believe in one body whose head is Jesus. We believe there is diversity in experiencing our faith, but we all have one Lord. We believe in the importance of unity amongst churches and in confessing this unity as well.
2 Tim 3:1-13; Titus 2:14-3:2; Rom 13:1We believe in God-appointed leadership. We believe that God has given the authority of leadership to pastors and elders so they can serve the church.
Gen 14:20; 1 King 17:7-16; Mal 3:10; Mark 12:42-44; Luk 12:22-34; 21:1-4; 2 Cor 9:6-11We believe in tithing to the church as a principle of God and a possibility to express our gratitude and utter dependence on Him. Giving tithes is not law, but a desire of the believer to sow and to invest in God's kingdom and a form of surrender to the Father and expect everything from God. God loves a cheerful giver. We are God's property and all we have, we received from Him.
